What is [StartupLockdown]
[StartupLockdown] is an experiment designed by WHITESPACE to quickly prototype business concepts. It is a week long experiment, structured into daily sprints to validate business concepts in less than 24 hours.
Five 1st year students at Harvard Business School set out to change how we think about entrepreneurship. We are peers and friends, working together as a family of business builders.
Five days. One idea per day. A week-long experiment in accelerated business building to prove that with clear focus and thoughtful collaboration, we can achieve more than we thought possible together. Rapid consumer research, rapid prototyping, rapid consumer testing, and rapid iteration. What can be done in 24 hours?
From thirty original ideas, we chose five. We explored different industries, focusing on critical questions and asking “what is the job to be done?”. At the end of each day we strived to have real customers and real business concepts - that will live well beyond the week.
"Startup Lockdown started as a speech about building businesses, but became a conversation about building people.” – Em Toshack
